Fishing During COVID-19

The year 2020 will most certainly go down as one of the most monumental years in history. We’re living in a time of uncertainty, and this pandemic has touched every single life in the world. I pray that you and your families are healthy, and stay healthy.

Fishing has consumed my life since I was skilled enough to cast a Zebco 2020 off my grandparents dock at the age of 2 or 3. Fishing has been my career now for more than 20 years. Fishing also brings me peace. I can’t explain why, but in stressful times it’s comforting. It soothes my soul. God has given me a gift to be able to catch fish, and I like to return the favor by teaching others how to catch their own fish. This virus doesn’t change this drive within me. In fact, it makes me want to work harder for those that I care about.

My role as a fishing guide seems to be changing with updated CDC guidelines and government mandated rules. But, you have my word that I’ll do my best to follow those rules and keep you connected with fish. As your fishing guide I’ll do my best to keep you safe. I believe I’ve always done my best to keep my customers safe, but now I’ll be doing my best to keep you safe from an invisible virus - while you do your best to take your mind off of it.

Thankfully, I’m open for business once again. And thankfully, the fish keep on biting. We’re blessed by an abundance of fish in our metro lakes and the walleyes, bass, pike and panfish just keep on biting. Every fishing guide will tell ya that the bite is HOT! But, I’m here to tell ya, we’re to another incredible season of trophies.
