Trophy Encounters Guide Service is designed for any fisherman or woman to have a great time as well as learn how to catch more and bigger fish.  It is our promise to teach everybody how, and what to do during every outing to make it a fun, rewarding and great learning experience on the water.  Top of the line equipment is provided and used during every trip to ensure the best possible chance of landing the trophy of a lifetime.  Although our guides specialize in Lake Minnetonka and Waconia, we also offer trips throughout the entire state of Minnesota including: Mille Lacs Lake, Cass Lake, Lake of the Woods, Lake Vermillion, Brainerd area Lakes, Bemidji area Lakes, all metro waters, the Mississippi River, and many others.  Let us guide you to the latest hot spot, or choose services based on the species you're after - it's your choice.

Equpment Used:

  • Ranger Boats (Fisherman Series, Z-Series)
  • St. Croix / Thorne Bros custom built fishing rods
  • Shimano reels (spinning and baitcasting)
  • Berkley / Power Pro fishing line
  • Custom built lures as well as anything else on the market that is working
  • All other essentials needed for the day (snacks, beverages, life jackets, raingear, etc...)

What You Will Need:

  • Valid Minnesota Fishing License
  • Camera (optional: Our guides always have one in the boat)
  • Appropriate clothing for the conditions
  • Anything you may want to try out or experiment with

  • Muskie
  • Walleye
  • Bass
  • Northern Pike
  • Pan fish
  • Catfish

Rates For Muskie Trips:
Half day rates ( 5 hours ) are as follows:
1 Angler     $300
2 Anglers   $350
3 Anglers   $400 - available for certain circumstances

Rates For Walleye/Bass Trips:
Half day rates ( 4 hours ) are as follows:
1 Angler     $250
2 Anglers   $300
3 Anglers   $350

Panfish Trips:
Half day rates ( 4 hours ) are as follows:
1 Angler     $200
2 Anglers   $225
3 Anglers   $250
4 Anglers   $275

Corporate Fishing Outings:

Ice Fishing:
Ice fishing trips are available upon request.  Each trip is custom tailored to your specific needs and fish species.  Large and small groups can be accomodated in our luxurious fish houses.  Please contact Travis for further information.
