Angler Comments

We take great pride in knowing that we have made your adventure a success!  Please feel free to share an experience that you have had with us, or any thoughts you may have about our services.

Travis you are the Grand Pooba of "liv'in the dream". I am honored every time I get to see you and elated when it's on the water. Hanging out with you and Todd was the best thing since the hola hoop and sliced bread. The weather was superb (windy/rainy), but the company was even better. There is no such thing as a bad day on the water with you. The muskies won that day, but we were given our chances. Time just flies by when your in the boat with great friends. Cannot think of any better way to spend the day. Thanks Travis for yet another great memory. Keep making us all jealous and getting it done; Liv'in the Dream.

Muskie Mike and I were fishing a PMTT event in Madison Wisconsin in Sept. of 2003. Travis contacted Mike on Wednesday night before the tournament and asked us to join him on Tonka for the day. Mike and I should have headed straight to Madison for pre-fishing but we really wanted to hook some big fish which are not very common on the Madison chain. We decided to spend the day on Tonka with Travis instead of doing our homework for the tournament.

We met Travis at the boat landing at 6am. His quote for the day was, " its gonna be a 10 fish day". I asked him how many 10 fish days he's had. He said "none yet". It didn't take long for Travis to stick the first fish. "9 to go". We raced around Tonka hitting 20 or 30 spots. By the time the day was winding down we had 8 muskies in the boat. I had landed my person best at 48.5. The 10 fish day slipped through our fingers because Travis had to get fitted for a tux for a wedding this upcoming weekend or we probably would have toughed it out for 2 more. The bottom line is I pulled the bait out of mouth of atleast 3 fish day before I finally stuck the big one. Sorry Travis, I should have been an 11 fish day, my bad.

It was an awesome day on the water! Travis introduced us to a few new tricks and we drove off to Madison a day later then we had planned. As luck would have it, Muskie Mike and I tried of few of Travis's new tricks on the Madison Chain. We won the event and set a new PMTT record for the number of fish caught (4). The 3 fish I missed on Thursday with Travis only helped me to not make the same mistakes during the Madison tournament. All in all it was the single best weekend of muskie fishing a guy could ever have. Thanks Travis for being a part of it!
